Our committee is governed by the Pre-School Learning Alliance
constitution that states we must have 3 elected officers (Chair, Secretary
& Treasurer) and between 2 and 9 addtional elected members. If there are
insufficient volunteers to make up the committee, then as a charity we would be
regarded as non-constitutional and be forced to close. We are involved with
the day to day running of Banwell Buddies and over the last year this has
included activities ensuring the building inside and out is safe and well
maintained, applying for charity grants, as well as working with North Somerset
Council, OFSTED and the Charity Commission to ensure we are meeting our
educational, legal and financial obligations. |
